SFB 1316 Summer Retreat
Between July 11 and July 13, 2018, the first project meeting of the CRC 1316 took place in Kerkrade. Nearly 40 participants joined the event at the Abtei Hotel Rolduc during the three days. As a special guests Prof. Luís L. Alves and Dr. Antonio Tejero Del Caz presented the LisbOn KInetics (LOKI) computational tool. At the first day, a special PhD activity took place, followed by two days intensive scientific discussions with all participants.

3rd funding phase of the SFB TR 87 granted
High Performance Plasmas for the Deposition of Functional Coatings
The group participates in this consortium with three projects on the plasma physics of HiPIMS, elementary surface processes in magnetron sputtering and polymer treatment, and the deposition of permeation barriers and membranes.
